I began as a taper in the drywall profession after my Junior year in High School, in 1964. My oldest brother had broken into the profession a few years before, so I had a sponsor, which, at the time, was important for finding a job. After graduating I went to work in drywall full time with my 3 older brothers. My oldest brother was foreman for a large commercial drywall company, so I learned the trade doing high end work at places like Ames Research Center and Hewlett-Packard's early buildings. After ten years in construction, I decided to do some other things,and so I left construction for awhile. In 1984, after being back in construction for a few years, I decided to start my own company.

 

Also known as Lanny Huck Drywall, since 1984 my company has been contracting in the South Bay and Monterey Bay Areas. This makes our outfit very experienced in all phases of Drywall Construction. My son Damon now runs my business.
